Resene Zylone SpaceCote was chosen for several areas of Zone 23's interiors. This multipurpose, waterborne paint, shown in Resene Earls Green on the opposite page, combines the toughness and durability of a solventborne paint with waterborne paint versatility. Its low sheen finish also provides the option of having a lower sheen paint in hard-wearing areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and laundries, without sacrificing durability.

Resene Zylone SpaceCote can also be used on joinery and trim, both inside and out, and on all interior plasterboard areas. Being waterborne and low odour, Resene Zylone SpaceCote paints are easy to work and quick drying.

A downstairs art gallery in the complex features a brilliant Resene Roadster red, part of the Resene The Range 2006. This is a collection of 186 classic and modern colours, metallics, mineral effects and wood finishes.

Colours from the Karen Walker Paints Collection, also part of the Resene Total Colour System, were specified for some interiors. The Karen Walker name is synonymous with high fashion, and all the subtlety and diversity of the clothing world is reflected in this colour range of the same name.

The latest Karen Walker collection includes 42 complex hues, each carefully crafted to give effortless mix and match options, yet strong enough to work in isolation if simplicity is sought. Resene Sanguine Brown, Resene Donkey Brown and Resene Kina Brown are used on apartment walls and doors in Zone 23.
