As the uptake of high-definitiondigital broadcasting keeps gathering pace, consumer demand for large, flat-panel displays continues to build.

Fujitsu General's new 51 Series Plasmavision range is designed to bring the power of cinema into your home.

An Advanced Video MovementII (AVMII) digital video processor, exclusive to Fujitsu General, ensures a top quality picture, handling high-definition content with ease.

Images remain bright from a wide, 160 degree viewing angle, and digital noise, or pixelation, often a drawback with earlier plasma models, has been eliminated. Natural movement appears smoother and more fluid as a result, allowing you to enjoy lifelike action whether it is a sports event or a movie.

Colour management technology safeguards accurate colour display. Using a 10-bit processing system, the 51 Series panels produce over 1.07 billion colours to represent on-screen images in their most natural hues. The ambient light sensorfurther enhances picture quality byadjusting the screen brightness and contrast to suit the light of the viewing room.

The sleek design of the 51 Series allows the panels to integrate into existing decor with ease. Moreover, the new range has been manufactured using more environmentally friendly materials than ever before. This manufacturing policy was developed to meet stringent new Japanese regulations yet to be enforced in other markets. Fujitsu has, however, implemented this environmental stewardship programme in all its global offices.

The new generation 51 Series Plasmavision panels are available in four high-resolution screen sizes: 63in, 55in, 50in and 42in. A standard resolution 42-inch model is also available.

All panels can be wall or ceiling mounted, or placed on a stand, and are available from major retailers.
