Handcrafted American tiles lend an individuality to this remodeled home
One of the biggest challenges in restoring a home can be sourcing a locally made product to replace an original. For Edward and Lorie Valero, the owners of the property featured on these pages, it was imperative they find a local producer to supply the tiles needed for their Spanish Colonial Revival home.
The Valeros originally approached a Status distributor, Foothill Tile & Stone, who worked closely with us, says Status president, Richard Scott.
"Status specializes in handcrafted ceramic tiles, and with 270 designs and 95 colors, we were able to customize a range of tiles to suit the project."
Scott estimates that the company produced more than 5000 tiles for the project.
"All of our tiles are made on the premises. This gives us free rein over quality control and ensures timely delivery two aspects of paramount importance to ourselves and our clients."
Status tiles are available through a nationwide network of distributors.
