Global trends influence many areas of our lives our homes, holiday destinations and ultimately our choice of lifestyle. One international trend the growth of resort-style condominiums has sparked a new, luxury development north of Sydney.

Pat Sergi of Tesrol Holdings, the developer of the new Star of the Sea apartment complex, says many people today are looking for a lifestyle as much as a new home.

"This complex not only provides high-end apartment living, it also offers views, recreational facilities and privacy from neighbours," he says. "Security is another factor that has influenced the demand for developments such as this."

Situated opposite Terrigal Beach, just north of Sydney, Star of the Sea offers 52 resort-style apartments in four low-rise buildings The Haven, the Skillion, The Cape and The Promenade. The apartments are set within a subtropical landscaped environment, complete with waterfalls, streams, ponds and mature trees.

"This is the first development of its kind on the New South Wales coast," says Sergi. "Buyers are attracted to the idea of a home that doubles as a holiday resort, and while many owners have bought apartments as holiday homes, others are commuting to the city each day."

Sergi says all apartments feature top-of-the-line finishes, including marble floors and spacious kitchens with European appliances. Apartments also have spa baths and large balconies with pergolas and automated awnings.
