The design focused on a practical, understated approach to ensure the new layout nestled beautifully into its countryside environment and provided the required recreational amenities for the family to enjoy. An extended deck allows for a generous sized outdoor recreational area for dining and lounging. A Trendz Outdoors wood-burning fireplace reinforces the design intention for a relaxing space.Adjacent to the deck, a new fibreglass pool provides the next level of entertainment for family fun. Basking in sunshine, the site soaks up the summer vibe perfectly.A new poured concrete surround forms the pool terrace, the tone of the concrete selected to tie in with the granite pool coping tiles. Decorative cuts in the concrete follow the alignments established by the pool edges and coping tile lines. A glass panel pool fence between deck and pool area allows for seamless visual transition. A buffer of foliage softens the connection between the deck and pool area. In general, planting was used to soften the hardscape and offer colour and texture that ties in with the vibrancy of the surrounding countryside environs. Low-maintenance and site suitable full sun planting was selected to give elegance and continuity in form.Key construction finishes and quality workmanship is reflected in the granite pool copings, hardwood deck, concrete terrace and fireplace – ensuring the new scheme speaks of simplicity and craftmanship of the highest standards. Ultimately this garden delivers a family-focused space to be enjoyed year-round.
