Luxury comes in many forms, but there's no doubt attention to detail is key for bathrooms. This extends to the choice of shower doors and even the hardware that goes with them.

Maax, a leading North American manufacturer of award-winning products for the bathroom, has introduced a new line of glass doors for ceramic showers.

The three models in the line-up are all made from 10mm-thick tempered glass and feature streamlined, unobtrusive designs that introduce a subtle touch of luxury.

The frameless Purfect shower doors come in a wide range of sizes and are designed for alcove, corner or wall installation. The hinges are made from a highly durable and sturdy alloy and finished in polished chrome or brass.

Maax marketing director Yvan Lachance says Maax doesn't offer simple hinges, but genuine ornaments that become an intrinsic part of your bathroom decor.

"The PurfectKurve is another series in the new line-up. This door features the same components as the Purfectseries, but incorporates sleek curves cut into the glass. Both these designs are an ideal complement to modern and traditional interiors."

Mechanix shower doors are an innovative design with an industrial look that makes them particularly well suited to contemporary urban-style architecture.

"The Mechanix is a silent, frictionless, rolling shower door, exclusive to the Maax collection, says Lachance. "The Mechanix 2 shower door features suspended train technology, the first of its type to be readily available to the market. This door features three-inch stainless steel wheels that slide on a rail, allowing the door to glide at the touch of a finger."
