The picturesque outlook from their home is framed by the position of the windows, which include high clerestory windows that maximise the green tree canopy and the natural light.

Built by John Jensen Builders, the house features the APL Metro Series heavy duty aluminium joinery from Able Aluminium, in the colour Silver Pearl. All the windows are double glazed with clear glass, and they all feature colour-matched Miro hardware.

Because the site has limited access, the entry door comprises a French door and an extra glazed panel that can also open.

The Metro Series is a versatile range of heavy duty aluminium joinery well suited to contemporary architecture. The collection comprises sliding, hinged and bi-folding doors, and awning and casement windows. Doors and windows are easy to open and close, thanks to innovations such as the bottom roller system, which carries the weight of the door on the sill, rather than the top of the frame.
