A series of distinctive garden areas provides an outdoor living space that offers a seamless flow between public and private zones
When nature itself offers aninfinite variation of colour, size and shape, it follows that the options for landscape design can be limitless.
Distinctive outdoor living areas tailored to the location and the homeowners lifestyle are a hallmark of gardens created by Space Landscape, says designer and manager Tim Keat.
"We use the language of nature to create meaningful architectural spaces," he says. "All our gardens are designed to add value through their relationship to the immediate and wider landscape."
In this outdoor living area, a series of integrated garden spaces begins with the distinctive entry experience. This consists of a shaded stone room that functions as a lobby. Beyond, a cloistered pergola walkway leading to the front door offers glimpses of the lawn court and gardens.
In the garden sequence, the dining room opens onto the lawn court, with stepping stones leading to the main dining terrace above the garages. This roof garden offers cityscape and sea views and features a fireplace and louvred pergola above a dining setting.
"Although each separate area has its own distinctive quality, together they form a coherent, seamless whole," says Keat.
