Some bathroom motifs, especially those that evoke an ocean environment, never go out of fashion.

That's the experience of Tim Murphy, owner of decorative ceramic tile company Timeless Tile.

"Although we have many different architectural designs, the seashell tiles have been our specialty since our company began 22 years ago," he says.

"The high-relief art tiles are made and glazed by hand using glossy, matte or natural stone colors. Since every job is made to order, we can hand-paint the seashells to look real in a variety of color combinations to complete any style of decor," says Murphy.

"We can even match the color of other design elements, such as wallpaper, stone, paint or fixtures to create an individual setting."

Increasingly, designers and architects are pairing ceramic tiles with stone, as the two materials complement each other well, says Murphy.

"Ceramic tiles are also a practical choice, as they are durable, low-maintenance, and easy to clean," he says. "Our tiles provide a decorative touch to bathrooms, kitchens, fountains, fireplace surrounds and swimming pools."
