Making the most of your home often means making the most of your environment. A new range of residential homes promotes quality, environmentally sensitive living.

Alan Sullivan, Bellevale Homes sales and marketing manager, says the new range of Bellevale houses sets the standards for other building companies to follow.

"The three new Bellevale designs enable us to showcase our cutting edge design techniques, modern design principles, and sensitive building practices," says Sullivan.

The new designs launched include the Avoca, Kingscliff and Cabarita.

The four-bedroom Avoca combines all the rooms required by today's Australian families. Interior features include, spacious ground-floor living areas, glass-louvred windows to control light and sun and a staircase leading to a private retreat.

The Kingscliff packs plenty of living space into a compact family home, which sits comfortably on a 9-metre wide block. This three-bedroom home is practicaland attractive, with a TV room, two bathrooms and a balcony. For lovers of open-plan living, the four-bedroom Cabarita has a large kitchen and spacious informal living areas.

With a reputation for outstanding design and construction, quality materials such as aluminium window frames, Colorbond facia and gutters and ceramic floor tiles to wet areas are standard in all Bellevale Homes.

"All the designs have gained the coveted Greensmart accreditation. This is a package of practical environmental measures that emphasises environmental and affordability considerations. It also focuses on the full cost of constructing, owning and running a home.

Each design has also received a 5-star Nathers rating. Nathers was initially funded by the Australian and New Zealand Minerals and Energy Council, and is a rating for energy efficiency.

"We are committed to creating homes with maximum energy efficiency," says Sullivan.

Ecologically sustainable design features like the use of glass, ensures maximum solar exposure for living areas. High ceilings and window placement allow for natural cross ventilation. These have been included in all designs. All homes are thermally insulated, ensuring minimal heat loss and energy efficiency.

Key features of the homes are AAA-rated tapware and 5000-litre underground water tanks to collect rainwater from the roof. Water from the tanks is reticulated to the laundry, toilets, lawn and garden.

Each freestanding family home is available with facade options ensuring a wide range of house sizes and styles.

The spacious Avoca features a walk-in wardrobe and a large upstairs retreat. Downstairs are a living and dining room, study, kitchen, and family room and games room.

Bellevale Homes' commitment to providing architectural homes at an affordable price is reflected in the number of additional extras and complimentary services offered. Complimentary extras that includes a 25-year, transferable warranty, a complimentary colour consultation, construction insurance and standard council building approval fees among others.

"We offer an individually personalised quotation method. We're one of the few builders who take soil samples of your land and a contour survey, allowing us, in most cases, to provide a fixed site cost before your consultation," says Sullivan.

These new designs complete the Bellevale design range of over fifteen homes.
