Apartment living necessitates quiet, efficient plumbing, especially in alpine environments. Air Comm Consultants designed The Club's plumbing, drainage, hot and cold water, gas, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Advantage Plumbing was in charge of installation.

The brief for Air Comm was to supply a detailed design that could then be competitively tendered. Glenn Hill from Air Comm says the requirements were for the systems to have sufficient capacity and be quiet and effective.

"Domestic hot water systems should have a quick recovery rate and provide sufficient storage for the demands of cold winter ski seasons. Gas-fired boilers and cylinders with heating coils do the job well," says Hill.

Advantage Plumbing was responsible for water, gas, plumbing and drainage installation, while associate company CH Faul Ltd undertook ventilation and air conditioning installation.
