More space plus views

AS MORE products enter the commercial building market, architects reap the benefits of increased options. One recent innovation in glass products is Colour Bak a back-painted, toughened glass suitable for domestic and commercial applications.

It was this product the Maritime Towers architects specified for the ground floor lobby and elevator area.

Metro GlassTech supplied and installed Colour Bak glass in those areas and in the KPMG and Chapman Tripp offices, spanning 10 levels of the new building. The company also installed clear glass in the shop fronts lining the street outside the building.

Colour Bak has a variety of uses, from splashbacks, bath and shower walls, bar, counter and vanity tops to furniture, partitioning and screens.

It can also be used commercially as building column cladding, for glass floors, signage and directory boards, and for ceiling and light panels. Colour Bak features high quality paint products in any colour from the Resene range, including metallics.
