The Stamford Marque is equipped with a dedicated power and security system to ensure the residents' safety and convenience.

Shelmerdines Consulting Engineers director Bruce Kennedy says the company designed a state-of-the-art power supply, integrated security and access control system, distinctive lighting solutions, centralised TV distribution systems and smart wiring for each unit.

"Individual units have their own IT network with broadband access. The smart wiring allows residents to remotely control their household facilities such as air conditioning."

The security system has a computer-monitored emergency and exit lighting system, and controls and restricts access to individual floors depending on the appropriate authorisation. All points of entry have recordable CCTV coverage

The security system is interfaced with the other building services to ensure these services only operate where necessary, which conserves energy and reduces ongoing running costs.
