Making waves
A new community aquatic and leisure centre in Tauranga is deceptively large on the inside, packing many features under one roof
Large windows allow natural light to flood into the Baywave Tect Aquatic and Leisure Centre, creating its interior and exterior transparency.
The extensive aluminium joinery and flashings were measured on site, then custom made and supplied by Miller Design using Fletcher Aluminium systems. Special features include thermally broken windows from Miller that retain the heat of the pool during the winter.
