Make it special

Using contrasting textures is a good way to make different materials stand out in a kitchen. For this project, owners Andrew and Emma Bull teamed dark American oak cabinets with a glittering gold-coloured glass splashback.

Resene Imperite IF 503, in Resene Bullion from the Resene Metallic & Special Effects range provides a glistening copper gold that offsets the dark cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Glass and a metallic finish help to bounce light around the room and introduce a refined look to the Balinese-influenced design.
