The company's Porirua in-house designer, Murray Coutts, says the client on this project wanted a fresh, modern look and an increased sense of spaciousness.
"The existing bathroom had a walled-off toilet area, and this wall was removed to gain floor space," says Coutts. "For a clean, contemporary look, tiles were selected for the walls and floor, incorporating Listello decorative tiles into the design."
An existing bath was replaced and upgraded to a 1500 Salerno corner spa bath. The tub has a heavy-duty Onga heat pump and six jets, and seats two people.
"A curved Henry Brooks Collesium shower unit was also fitted this has sliding doors that maximise usable space."
Other inclusions were a Civeca wall-hung vanity unit with matching mirror cabinet and a new Aviero dual-flush toilet system. All products are also available off the shelf from Bathroom Direct.
