It's not just the dramatic exterior of the Ironbank building that sets it apart the interior also offers something a little different. The attention to detail extends to the custom-designed perforated anodised aluminium ceiling panels, which were fabricated and installed by Locker Group.

Lance Bridgford, Locker Group project manager, says the company consulted with the architect to ensure the design would meet the aesthetic and practical requirements. "We also provided expertise on the capabilities and benefits of perforating the anodised aluminium to ensure the optimum design was achieved and delivered," he says.

Bridgford says the ceiling panel design provides a change from mainstream commercial fit-outs a point of difference that helps to set the building apart. "All the panels throughout the building follow a consistent aesthetic principle, while embracing the individuality of the design criteria," he says.
