Circle on Cavill is another major project for reinforcing steel specialist Neumann Steel
IT MIGHT not be glamorous, but you can't do without it. The reinforcing steel used throughout Circle on Cavill was supplied by Neumann Steel, a company that has a long history with The Sunland Group.
Neumann Steel marketing executive Susie Paterson says that while manufacturing the reinforcing steel was straightforward, at times it was a logistical challenge to get it on site.
"Being a large site in a busy location, with many deliveries a day, the biggest challenge was to ensure our trucks arrived in our allocated time slots," she says.
Neumann Steel manufactures reinforcing steel for the Queensland and New South Wales markets. Other projects the company has supplied with steel include The Grand, Q1, Palazzo Versace and Avalon.
"The company has nine Service Centres, supported by experienced staff with a wealth of industry knowledge," says Paterson. "These centres stock a wide range of building and concreting hardware to complement our core steel products. Neumann Steel can also provide quick-response manufacturing for low-volume cut and bent products, to supplement our high-volume manufacture from Currumbin and Thornton."
