The product is designed and manufactured in

Australia to suit Australian and New Zealand Standards. It has been accredited

with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) meaning that when specified, it

will contribute to the points calculation for a project’s Green Star rating.

EPDs provide the full life cycle approach

to a product’s environmental impact; from production, through its working life

and ultimately, to its disposal at end of life. To have the Lockwood Selector 3772SS

accredited with an EDP is a great achievement – no

other mortice lock in the market has this declaration.

ASSA ABLOY see a great opportunity in the

commercial space for aligning the  business

with a sustainability focus; as customers seek to partner with organisations

that are proactive with respect to sustainable practices.

The launch of the Lockwood Selector 3700

Series was announced at ASSA ABLOY’s inaugural Innovation Forum where Industry

Experts presented to our customers on the varying impacts of three global

trends:  Sustainability, Urbanisation and

Digitisation.
