Spanish imports add character
Authentic Spanish doors, furniture and accessories add the finishing touch to the house. Supplied by concept design company LA Imports, the items complement the level of detailing evident throughout the project.
A specialist in Spanish colonial-style doors and furniture, LA Imports supplied the front door, several wood interior doors, the dining suite, armoire, occasional furniture and leather lounge chairs. The company also supplied the outdoor lights at the front of the house, and the cast-aluminium outdoor furniture in the loggia.
All LA Imports' furniture pieces offer a wealth of authentic, handcrafted detailing. Dining tables are made from either original doors or recycled timber, with a hand-forged iron base.
The company also provides a variety of different lighting styles, from candelabras and chandeliers to lanterns and outdoor lights.
Director Lorraine Allen says the company holds doors and furniture in stock, and will also make doors to order, in new or recycled wood. These can be either exterior or interior doors.
