With sustainable design a priority for designers and homeowners alike, houses today are invariably designed to maximise cross ventilation. A critical component of such a design is a ceiling fan that can enhance the air flow to provide cooling breezes throughout the home.

Hunter Pacific moved to purpose-built headquarters in Dural, Sydney in 2005.

"We have our own research and development division, as well as an enlarged service and product testing area. We also run installation trials and employ stringent quality control methods, so clients can have peace of mind in respect to performance, durability and safety."

Allen says Hunter Pacific was one of the first companies to introduce mix-and-match fans, and to introduce a genuine 316 (marine) grade stainless steel fan.

"Hunter Pacific was also the first company to introduce a fan where the blades attach directly to the housing with no intermediary blade holder."
