Let the sun shine in
UV protection is as important for your home as it is for your skin. A new range of window fashions from Luxaflex® allows light in but not the harmful rays
Until now, the only way to effectively protect your home's fabrics and furnishings against sun damage has been to close your curtains or blinds completely, blocking out the sun along with any views you might enjoy. But now there's a new range of Luxaflex ® Window Fashions that filter out harmful UV rays and heat while still allowing you to enjoy light and views.
Marketing manager, Glenda Roberts, says Luxaflex Window Fashions are changing the way we look at sun protection in our homes.
"Sunscreen blinds in the Luxaflex range feature a new generation of screen fabrics that reduce the sun's heat, while providing a UV filter," says Roberts.
Because Luxaflex blinds reduce the amount of heat entering your home, air conditioning systems run more efficiently.
Sun screens fitted externally to homes without air conditioning also enjoy lower summer temperatures.
"Some homes benefit by reductions of up to 15°C," says Roberts.
