Texture and colour play a significant role within the Berkeley cinema complex, highlighting architectural forms, as well as special features.
To achieve the special effects required in many areas, the designers specified Resene paints. These include paints from the Resene Metallics and Special Effects range, such as Resene Bullion and Resene Platinum.
Resene marketing manager Karen Warman says these metallic paints can transform and add an extra dimension to virtually any surface.
"The collection also includes subtle pearlescentfinishes, such as Resene Pearl Shimmer and Resene Pixie Dust, which also features in the complex. These finishes enable designers to achieve a soft, shimmering effect, which is more dynamic than a plain solid colour, but less dazzling than a full metallic finish."
Other Resene colours in the complex include hues from The Range, such as Resene Pavlova, Resene Half Napa, and Resene Heathered Grey.
