La Quinta Getaway reflects owner's global aesthetic
Every room, including the kitchen, living room, master bedroom and bath, has been reimagined in this renovation
Inspired by the client’s travels throughout Europe and living abroad in Spain, the home reflects the owner’s global aesthetic. A self-proclaimed lifelong learner, the client desired eclectic interiors that captured his personality.
Significant to the redesign was flipping the layout of the kitchen island, and extending the Roman travertine flooring out to the pool deck, thus creating a large, open-air expanse that celebrates California’s indoor-outdoor way of life. Further, a private courtyard ideal for morning coffee offers another outdoor living area.
Thoughtfully selected pieces include a Moroccan inspired custom side table, a vintage ceramic pot from JF Chen retrofitted as a lamp, sofas from A. Rudin and dining chairs from Gregorious Pineo. Additionally, we designed a leather-topped wrought iron coffee table for the space. Beauty with imagination.
