Keeping cool
The simplicity of Fujitsu General's AirStage J-Series VRF system makes it well suited to both new and existing, small to medium-sized commercial applications
The physical comfort of staff is an important aspect of any working environment to which the effectiveness of a building's heating and ventilation systems makes a valuable contribution.
The AirStage J-Series Valuable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system is a high-performance, multi-air conditioning system developed by Fujitsu General.
Flexible in design, this system is well suited to a variety of new and existing commercial applications. The AirStage J-Series includes a combination of indoor units that can be adapted to suit individual air conditioning requirements. By offering a choice of cassette, ducted and wall-mounted indoor units, this system is easy to install into most buildings.
One of the advantages of the AirStage J-Series is its ability to automatically adjust its capacity to suit the required cooling or heating load of each room. To do this, it combines a DC inverter scroll compressor with advanced refrigerant flow technology, enabling a 15.2kW outdoor unit to have up to a maximum of 22.8kW of indoor units connected to it.
Milton Kaloudis, marketing manager of Fujitsu General, says this feature enables the AirStage J-Series to achieve superior energy savings and low operating costs. The system is also compact and quiet.
To assist architects, specifiers and installers wanting to learn more abut VRF, Fujitsu General operates a fully functional training facility at its Arndell Park head office.
