Lighting a large office building requires more than just task lighting. Often, specialist lighting is needed to create aesthetic appeal in areas such as foyers and boardrooms.

Targetti NZ supplied many of these specialist fittings for Lumley Centre. Peddle Thorp Architects, together with Beca engineers, specified a large quantity of the Targetti products used within the project. Singer Group also relied on Targetti to assist them in sourcing the high-performance light fittings that were needed for the A-grade office building, while remaining within budget.

Specialist lighting was needed in the foyer and surrounding areas. Exterior grade high-performance Pyros projectors were chosen to illuminate the schist feature walls because of their total flexibility and high performing optics. LED.Y lights were used in the water feature outside the foyer, and Conti recessed strip lights were used throughout the building, as they can provide both symmetrical and asymmetrical light distribution.
