F or a high-end luxury apartment to live up to its name, buyers expect a premium location, good design and plenty of outdoor living space. Attention to detail is also important, meaning materials, fittings and appliances must be of the highest quality.

For this reason, Miele appliances were specified for the Boathouse and Shore Terraces apartments in Australand's Glebe Harbour development. The development occupies a prime position on Sydney's Glebe peninsula, and comprises a total of 135 residential dwellings across five individual buildings.

Australand's Anthony Trueman-Farrell says Miele was chosen because it is recognised as a prestige brand.

The appliance line-up goes beyond standard specifications, even including a coffee machine. The Miele CVA620 coffee machine is designed for the serious coffee drinker. Not only does it brew coffee to suit, it also grinds the beans to ensure freshness.

The extra-wide 90cm oven has a range of functions including enhanced fan heat, auto roast, defrost, fan grill and intensive bake. Also featured in these apartments are a Miele dishwasher, rangehood, cooktop, wok burner and microwave.
