Kitchen appliances have to be functional, but are appreciated more when they also enhance the overall look of your kitchen.

In recognition of this, Smeg employs a team of architects, industrial designers, artisans and engineers to ensure its products are aesthetically pleasing as well as practical and durable.

Australand's Anthony Trueman-Farrell says this is why Smeg appliances were chosen for several of the apartment buildings within the Glebe Harbour development.

"Smeg is a quality European product synonymous with high-end residential locations."

Smeg products chosen for the development include the FA170X oven, PA705 cooktop, OA412FR 60cm rangehood, ST663 dishwasher, microwave and round kitchen sinks.

To help make cooking as easy as possible, Smeg ovens offer the cook a wide range of functions. There is a choice of manual, semi-automatic and automatic cooking, and up to 10 different fan-assisted and fan-forced grilling or baking options.

A key feature of Smeg built-in ovens is a Thermoseal system that enables the oven to become completely sealed during operation. Because the Thermoseal prevents air escaping during the cooking process, there is no discharge of smoke or grease to discolour surrounding kitchen finishes.

The stainless steel cooktop features five burners with varying burn speeds, automatic ignition and a flame failure device on each burner for optimum safety. The full-height, integrated dishwasher has three different temperature settings, four wash cycles and enough room for 12 place settings.
