SOMETIMES THE best design features are those that you don't even notice the first time round. For generations designers have been marrying tricks of the trade to the latest products available to create seamless internal environments.

Advances in technology have enhanced this process, improving not only the aesthetics, but also the practicality of interior settings. Stegbar is one such company that has embraced these advances to create a range of products suitable to the modern lifestyle, says contract manager Andrew Walsh.

"Stegbar was commissioned to supply and install all shower screens, vanity mirrors, sliding wardrobe doors and built-in wardrobe shelving to Circle on Cavill.

"Sunland Group always insists on a very high quality of both product and workmanship. Therefore we specified frameless shower screens and wardrobe doors which are consistent with the level of finish expected in a penthouse suite while the built-in wardrobe design allows for plenty of hanging space as well as ample shelving and storage."

Co-ordinating on-site installations for 637 apartments corresponding with all other sub-contractors to achieve completion and hand-over of each floor by the date set was one of the challenging factors of the project, says Walsh.

"The only way this could be achieved was to have weekly co-ordination meetings with all sub-contractors and Sunland supervisors, to set weekly targets for our installation teams."
