Architecture in its purest form personifiesideas and when built, such structures often stand as artistic statements, connecting with the physical environment and influencing the way people live.

As one of Australia's foremost property developers, Sunland Group always seeks to create structures that offer an aesthetic contribution, says managing director Sahba Abedian.

"The residences at 95 Cammeray Road are no exception," he says. "The project comprises two residences with a design signature that reflects the location, and an outlook that captures the imagination. Envisaged as a single pavilion in the park, the dwellings offer spectacular outlooks to the north, east and west."

Designed by Sunland Design, in association with SJB Architects, 95 Cammeray Road was judged Best Apartment Under 10 Storeys and Apartment Project of the Year, at the 2006 New South Wales HIA Awards. These awards continue the successes Sunland Group has achieved in Queensland, with Q1, Avalon and Circle on Cavill, and in Melbourne, with Yve.

With an exterior comprised of copper, stone and timber, the dwellings will age gracefully. However, the quality of design is most obvious on the inside.

"The copper-clad front door and panelled lobby create a sense of privacy and seclusion," says Abedian. "Minimalist elegance, empathetic proportion, space and flow contrast a sumptuous material palette of rich textiles and tactile finishes, such as terrazzo and marble. The absence of superfluous elements creates living environments that are pleasurable to inhabit."
