Industrial rustic show home by GJ Gardner
Semi-industrial feel to modern show home with concrete, steel, wood and metallic accents by GJ Gardner
As potential home buyers, we're all different. While one person may prefer traditional design, another might want a bold, contemporary look. Luckily, this need for diversity is addressed by one of our leading design-and-build companies.
GJ Gardner Tauranga's Kirsty McConnell describes their latest show home as Industrial Rustic. Kirsty is co-franchisee for GJ Gardner Tauranga along with her husband Shane.
"The dramatic home reflects a wide use of exposed construction materials such as concrete, wood, steel and metallic accents to achieve an individualistic look," says Kirsty McConnell

"Moody textures, metallic hints and strong woodgrains give the home a grounded, solid feel all within a clean, open design," she says.
This is also an entertainer's home, with the long living area opening up on both sides to outdoor living areas through wide-opening stacker doors. No matter the wind direction, there's always sheltered indoor/outdoor living. The home has a huge kitchen with open scullery an overseas trend now popular here.
Custom built-in cabinetry is designed to serve individual spaces, ensuring the spacious interiors always look their pared-back best.

"The Industrial Rustic home merges a rugged charm with cosy living and lots of heart," she says.
GJ Gardner designs and build new homes for a wide range of tastes. Customers can choose from the company's broad range of existing architecturally designed plans, or they can start afresh, shaping a design to their specific needs.
