Designer: X+LivingAbout the project: Nebio Family Park is an indoor amusement park located in the Minhang district of Shanghai. While the park is focused on reading, it also features several other interesting areas for kids to roam. There’s a dining area, climbing space and party room – as well as the reading space.Forests and rolling hills surround the main entryway, creating the ultimate spot for kids to read. The design also helps to create a feeling of being closer to nature – important in a city environment like Shanghai. The ‘Sims City’ space in the amusement park features a number of entertaining areas, including roads and elements of urban design.Across the ‘time tunnel’, there’s a playground with climbing racks and various slides that take children directly to the dining area. In the dining area, transparent crawlways and balloon-like hanging game boxes provide further entertainment. The basement features several party rooms.
