A complex, steep-pitched roof line is a distinguishing feature of most traditional rural homesteads, and this home is no exception. To create the right aesthetic, Nautica Homes and designer Mark Wilson specified Pabco Advantage shingles from Asphalt Shingle Company.

"We wanted a chunky look that would complement the solid masonry construction and heavy macrocarpa lintels," Wilson says. "These shingles have a sense of visual movement there are slight colour differences in each one. They also have the right thickness to create that rustic, shingle look."
