With its hand-hewn limestone exterior and dramatic interior detailing, the Stonehaven residence reflects a traditional English design influence
The sense of luxury that pervades Stonehaven is also evident in the bathrooms and powder rooms. In these rooms a variety of Toto wash basins and toilets were specified.
The rooms featured on these pages showcase the Toto Dantesca under-counter lavatories and the Toto Black Dorian and Cotton White Ultimate toilets. Designer and project coordinator Jackie Cottrill says she has specified Toto products throughout the last six projects undertaken by Renaissance Development.
"We have found them particularly reliable," she says. "Their functionality is also a real benefit. The toilets, for example, are designed to accommodate the new regulations that limit the flush to a 1.6-gallon capacity. Yet they still flush as well as toilets that used the larger capacity."
Toto also manufactures complete bath collections as well as suites of toilets, lavatories, washlets, air baths, soaker tubs, bath accessories, sensor faucets and flush valves to suit both the residential and commercial markets. Cottrill says she will also be specifying a new soaker tub, which is considerably deeper than standard tubs.
