Rinnai sales and marketing manager Mark McCutcheon says the new technology makes the fire extra efficient and clean burning the fire has the approval of the Asthma Foundation.
"The Rinnai Symmetry DV3610, which has been designed and manufactured in New Zealand to suit local conditions, was awarded a 4.2-star rating for energy efficiency by the Australian Gas Association. This is the only direct vent gas flame fire in New Zealand to have this rating."
McCutcheon says the fire's smart design means it takes less energy to heat your room, which results in lower running costs. The fire also meets the requirements of clean air schemes and the EECA Warm Up New Zealand: Heat Smart programme, which provides government cash-backs to consumers.
The Rinnai Symmetry uses a heat transfer system, so you can warm up two additional rooms while the fire is on.
