The demand for gas fires has soared as homeowners look to quick-and-easy, eco-friendly heating options
Flickering flames at the touch of a button busy lifestyles require convenient heating solutions. But instant heat isn't the only reason for the increasing popularity of Rinnai gas fires, says sales and marketing manager David Waters.
"People are wanting all the comfort of an open fire without the hassle," he says. "They are also concerned about the environment, and are looking for dependable, cost-effective heating. Gas is convenient, clean, instant and highly efficient. And the technology just keeps getting better. The new Arriva power flue from Rinnai, for example, was created especially to suit climatic conditions in New Zealand."
Waters says the Arriva power flue has two separate flows for combustion air and warm, convected air, which provides improved air quality. The in-built fan boost also means the fire can be installed just about anywhere in the home even against internal walls.
The Arriva has interchangeable fascias, which include one-piece, curved glass, and flat-front, stainless steel options.
In-house industrial designer Ben Hawkins says the Rinnai Reflection range is another affordable flame fire option. This collection offers a variety of distinctive styles and installation alternatives, including fires for zero-clearance and suspended installations.
"Rinnai is also releasing a new outdoor gas fireplace just in time for lazy summer evenings around the barbecue."
