Custom-made kitchens ensure homeowners are getting exactly what they want
Made-to-order fixtures and fittings are becoming the norm across a whole range of day-to-day applications as technology continues to progress. When once you would have had to wait for months for a custom-made piece of furniture, the same can now be made in a matter of weeks, or less.
Kitchens are no different. Customised kitchens are now a real alternative to kitset options, says Design House Kitchens managing director Paul Hodge.
"Modern materials and improved techniques have made it possible for everyone to have a kitchen tailored to their precise requirements."
Design House Kitchens offers a fully individualised design, manufacture and fitting service, starting with a concept plan.
"Clients building a new home provide us with their plans and a wish list, which we turn into a fully realised 3D concept, including a quote. This is a free service," he says. "The client then visits our showroom to discuss the colour scheme, and any changes. From there the kitchen is manufactured and installed. In total the process takes three to four weeks."
For clients who are renovating, Design House Kitchens conducts an on-site visit at the start of the design process.
