The owners of this rural property chose quality materials and experienced tradespeople to create their award-winning new home
The owners have a busy lifestyle and wanted a kitchen suited to quick meal preparation with an island bench. With this in mind, Carlielle Kitchens came up with a contemporary, elegant design.
Designer Jessica Valintine says the owners wanted as many drawers as possible for maximum storage. The benchtops are constructed in 30mm Silestone built up to 60mm thick for a solid effect. Lacquer cabinetry and a glass splashback have also been used.
Carlielle's unique aluminium cabinet system allows the hinges and hardware to be bolted onto aluminium extrusions, which in turn are built into the carcass.
Carlielle Kitchens provides a full service which includes the provision of electrical and plumbing plans for the design. The company also gives the owner advice on their kitchen design while the house is still on the drawing board, which ensures that any structural issues are dealt with prior to construction.
