Time is money, and carrying out a project within a limited time frame can be a challenge for developers of a large scale project like Green Square. The Tracey Brunstrom & Hammond (TBH) Group has been involved with the construction industry in Australia since 1965, working with building owners, developers and contractors.

The TBH Group was contracted by Leighton Properties to provide time management services for Green Square. This consisted of reviewing the contractors' construction programmes, monitoring progress, and proactively attempting to forecast potential problems, thus preventing delays from eventuating. Director Matt Hansen says the company carried out frequent site visits during the construction phase and enjoyed a positive working relationship with both the contractor and the developer.

"We met fortnightly with both parties to review the progress of the works against the contractors' construction programmes. Status was discussed openly at these meetings, where market knowledge was shared in order to pre-empt any potential delays."

Using the TBH Group, Leighton Properties was able to confirm a realistic target time frame for the development, and minimise any time-related contractual disputes between the company and its contractors.
