This house features a full range of Fisher & Paykel appliances, including the fifth-generation DishDrawer® DD605MFD, which provides improved wash performance and a range of eco options.

The company says its engineers are constantly working on ways to reduce water and energy consumption, and the DishDrawer is a prime example.

Other Fisher & Paykel appliances in the kitchen include the 90cm-wide five-burner Titan gas cooktop, 76cm Titan oven, 90cm canopy rangehood, 451-litre refrigerator and matching 389-litre freezer.

Fisher & Paykel appliances were also specified for the laundry, including the new AeroSense clothes dryer. The dryer's intelligent technology prevents excessive energy use and over drying auto-sensors automatically shut off the appliance when the washing is dry.

Other green initiatives from Fisher & Paykel include the use of recyclable polycarbonates and metal. Packaging is also either reused or recycled to eliminate waste. In addition, an on-line manufacturing operation ensures there is less waste and less inventory.
