The single most costly element in a newor refurbished kitchen, in terms of money and time, is the cabinetry.

One way to source high-end cabinetry at reasonable prices is to choose a supplier that sells directly to the public. Kitchen Bathroom Storage Depot imports its kitchens and bathrooms from overseas, then sells them directly to the customer, says manager Lance Jessup.

"We don't have intermediaries to push the prices up. By importing from overseas, we pass the savings onto the customer."

The company's Premium and Designer kitchen ranges feature a hard-wearing, high-gloss finish, toughened with an ultraviolet (UV) light hardening process, so that the surface becomes tough and durable, as well as easy to clean.

"This is the ideal finish for customers who like a high-gloss finish but don't like the scratches," says Lance Jessup. "Other finishes include our Classic Melamine and Premium-plus toughened glass."

The company also supplies vitreous china vanities, showers, toilets, mirrors, tapware and bathroom accessories.
