The Chateau 150 is the latest development from La Cornue, a French company that's produced handcrafted cooking ranges since 1908. This model offers the best of both worlds with a gas and an electric oven, while door design has been improved and electronic features added. Metric dimensions make it easier to install in modern kitchen spaces. Other sizes include the Chateau 120 and Chateau 180.
As with all La Cornue ranges, the Chateau 150 is assembled entirely by hand by one worker. Each cooker is built to order, allowing gas and electric items to be individually specified.
Handmade using cast iron, solid brass, nickel, stainless steel and porcelain enamel, the ranges are long-lasting as well as good looking. All models are equipped with powerful, professional-strength burners, a solid top and a vaulted oven with an airtight, seamless door, ensuring food cooked in a La Cornue oven retains its flavour and juiciness.
