The Shuttle matting consists of long-lasting polyamide carpet infills in a modular aluminium tile design, designed to quickly and thoroughly remove grit, dirt and water. The four-way design cleans footwear from all directions, front-to-back and left-to-right. This ensures floors remain clean and accidents on slippery floors are reduced.
The company says that in a busy city office, the Shuttle can trap up to 5kg of dirt and 6 litres of water per square metre.
Shuttle mats come in a range of 47 colours, and can be custom designed to incorporate client logos. In addition, the aluminium can be powdercoated in any colour to suit the office decor.
The matting comes with its own mat well or ramp system to simplify joins with carpet or tiles. It also has a five-year warranty against wear, subject to corrrect installation and maintenance.
