Remodeling is an ideal opportunity to get rid of tired, old finishes and introduce vibrant, low-maintenance surfaces. One way to bring your walls and floors alive, and make them easier to maintain, is by opting for colorful stone and glass mosaics.

MaestroMosaicsTM is a new-look range of tilework from Granite and Marble Resources, says director Robert Briggs.

"These tiles are offered in a staggering array of colors, patterns, and finishes," says Briggs. "Glass tiles include bubble, metallic, crystal, iridescent, crinkle, gold or silver leaf, and rustic antique. The stone tiles are available in marble, slate, limestone, travertine, quartz and onyx."

This broad selection allows clients to mix and match, to create a customized look for walls or floors but for the financial outlay of an off-the-shelf selection.

"Whether it's a classic, mosaic kitchen backsplash, with matching floor tiles, or a contemporary shower stall, featuring shimmering iridescents, every remodeling situation is catered for," says Briggs.

With over 2000 custom variations, MaestroMosaics provides a spectrum of design possibilities for walls, flooring, backsplashes, tub surrounds, shower enclosures, and pool and spa areas.

"Many mosaics are offered in the same textures and stone characteristics as larger-sized tiles, for a unified effect," he says.
