Experience counts
With more than 30 years in the kitchen design business and a score of famous clients, David Michael Wagner of Pacific Coast Kitchens knows exactly what works in the long term
When you have worked in the kitchen design industry for more than three decades, you gain a good understanding of design and people. And, according to the designer of the kitchens shown here, what clients want is an investment, a kitchen that will look just as good and be just as relevant in 20 years' time.
David Michael Wagner of Pacific Coast Kitchens has the credentials to know what he is talking about. Wagner has designed and built more than 2000 mid- to high-end kitchens in his 30 years in the business, and is a Certified Interior Designer in the State of California. His kitchens have been seen in many magazines, television shows and movies, and his client list reads like a who's who of Hollywood.
Wagner was a keynote speaker on kitchen design at the Home & Garden Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and is currently on the Board of Directors of the California Council for Interior Design Certification.
"I have spent years selecting cabinet sources that meet my demanding specifications," he says. "The selection and quality of woods and cabinet construction are all important in creating a kitchen that will keep its looks for at least 20 years. A kitchen is not a budget item; it is an investment that should reflect the home."
The Craftsman and Tuscan kitchens on these pages highlight the attention to detail in all Pacific Coast projects. The cabinetry is by BenchMark Cabinets, Fredericktown, Ohio.
