When we tire of a wall, its easy to repaint it. When the chair fabric wears thin, it can be recovered. But what about the floor?

Replacing a floor is a substantial investment, so it's important to install a product able to withstand everyday knocks.

Quick-Step's new Quadra Slate laminate tiles exude warmth and character, yet require very little maintenance, says marketing director Tim Tipton.

Quadra tiles can be installed in straight lines, adjacent to one another, or staggered, for a relaxed look. Two colors can also be combined for a chessboard pattern.

The Natural Authentic finish emphasizes the design and composition of each tile, for the most realistic look achievable.

"Slate tiles, joined with other laminate floors in the same room present a range of design possibilities," says Tipton.

Natural Oak planks from Quick-Step's Perspective 4 collection are long and narrow, making the room appear larger.

Each plank has slight beveling on the sides and ends to create a subtle v-groove when installed. This gives the appearance of hardwood floors with the enduring qualities of a laminate floor, says Tipton.
