For example, the ICS hood features an auto-sensor that detects the presence of fumes and heat for automatic start up .

Similarly, the dishwasher can be programmed to select the best wash cycle, temperature, water level and wash duration for each load.

The induction hob is another innovative part of the De Dietrich range. The hob itself does not heat up as heat is induced directly within the cookware, leaving the surface cool and safe to touch. For greater convenience, De Dietrich's latest development the zoneless induction hob allows up to five pans to be placed anywhere on the hob. Heat sensors are then automatically activated.
