Ecologically sound
From the bottom up, this Sydney office building has been designed and constructed with care for the environment in mind

Trying to install audio-visual equipment into a ceiling that doesn't allow anything to be hung below it, and a ceiling void that contains a chilled air-conditioning system, posed a real challenge for the company responsible for installing the audio-visual and conferencing systems at 30 The Bond.
To meet the challenge, Electroboard came up with a retractable projector lift with a short travel distance of only 165mm.

Electroboard national projects specialist Jason Blackney says the selection of a Sanyo PLC-XC10 projector with its squat housing also made it possible to use the limited space without experiencing poor picture quality.
A second major challenge for Electroboard was the limited space for storage of technology.

The company designed special concealed racks for all of the technologies in each of the presentation rooms, boardroom and dining room. The racks are on wheels, and a turntable enables them to be removed from the wall cavity and accessed from the front and rear.
