Choosing an environmentally friendly pool means guilt-free swimming and low running costs
When installing a swimming pool, a lot of issues spring to mind. Maintenance costs are often a big one and in this modern age, harm to the environment is also a concern. How much will your pool increase the carbon footprint of your home?
Cascade's Ultimate pool range has several features that ensure your pool is cheap to run and easy on the environment, including 90mm foam insulation embedded in the concrete pool structure.
Thermal heat-retention bubble covers are also implemented to lower costs. When combined with a low-power heat pump and solar unit, this means Cascade pools can be kept at a comfortable 28° water temperature, for six to eight months swimming per year.
Cascade's Power Miser heat pumps draw only 500w but perform at the same level as other pumps, which typically draw twice as much power.
While most pools require large amounts of chemicals, Cascade uses an ozone water treatment system, reducing the need for chlorine. This makes an Ultimate pool environmentally friendly and cheap to run. It is also good for the health of your family. As the pools are produced locally from New Zealand-made materials, the carbon footprint is further reduced.
Free on-site evaluation, with an assessment of all costs involved, is part of Cascade's service.
