Different angle

A key selling point of the apartments is that buyers can request modifications, within reason, to the layout.

For project and construction management company Arrow International, this meant the layout of each apartment was slightly different, says project manager Pierre Benson. With experience in many facets of the construction industry, the company was able to provide solutions for these modifications.

"Services were one of the main things affected by changes to the layout. Instead of having a single combined services riser, a more intricate horizontalservices system was installed," says Benson.

The booming Auckland construction industry meant establishing a competent trade team was a significant challenge.

"This project's emphasis was on high-quality finishes, so it was essential to develop a team who could achieve this level of expectation," he says.
